Entertainment galore
The Concord Community Concert Association's upcoming season begins Friday, Sept. 14, with the performance of the Celtic Tenors. The association is presenting the following series in its 2007-2008 season:
* The Celtic Tenors - Sept. 14, 7:30 p.m., Concord City Auditorium. International favorites, concerts and TV, from Dublin, Ireland
* The Polyjesters - Nov. 8, 7:30 p.m., Concord City Auditorium. Jazz, swing, country, folk and humor by four musicians from Canada. Ukulele, fiddle, percussion and bass.
* Quatrocelli - April 15, 7:30 p.m., Concord City Auditorium. Four award-winning cellists from Germany. All first chairs of European symphony orchestras. Classical, pop, folklore and more. Also, a free educational student outreach program from 10-11 a.m.
* Revels Circle of Song - "There's a Meeting Here Tonight" - May 14, 7:30 p.m. A 40-person staged production. History of The Hutchinson Family Singers of Milford, rock stars and activists of the times throughout the U.S.A. and Canada during the Civil War era. Great New Hampshire story for everyone.
Tickets for the entire series cost $48. Children get in free with adult members. Single concert admission at the door is $24. Series membership is available at the door.
