March 1 square dance cancelled

Sorry everyone, there won't be any do-si-doing this Saturday. The square dance schedule for 7:30 p.m. at Howard Recreational Center has been canceled. Now you'll have plenty of time to shovel the drive. Again.

Bake sale in Bow

Bow Mills United Methodist Women, 505 South St., Bow, will hold a Valentine's Day Bake Sale on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 9:15 and 11:30 a.m. Proceeds will be used for the UMW Mission Projects. The regular UMW monthly meeting will be held on Feb. 19 beginning at noon with guest speaker the Rev. Dwight Haynes presenting "Valentine's Day: A Day with Christian Roots."
